John King Construction served as the General Contractor for the Round Rock Sports Center Expansion, a 35,000-square-foot renovation and addition project delivered for the City of Round Rock. This project was completed on an active campus, requiring detailed phasing, proactive communication, and careful coordination to maintain safety and minimize disruption to ongoing operations. 

This expansion further reflects our strong partnership with the City of Round Rock—one of our most valued clients—and reinforces our continued commitment to supporting projects that enhance the local community. As a Round Rock-based company with deep roots in the area, we take pride in contributing to the growth and development of the city we call home. 

Our relationship with the City of Round Rock spans more than a decade, dating back to 2013 when we constructed The Rabb House. That project also marked an important milestone in our company history, as it was the first project led by J.D. King as a superintendent after joining John King Construction following college. 

The Round Rock Sports Center Expansion is another example of our ability to successfully deliver complex public-sector projects through collaborative partnerships, strong field leadership, and effective management of active site conditions.
